About the Artist

Hello there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Caitlin and I'm a nature and animal artist based in the Pacific Northwest.

In 2024, I began pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time artist when I launched Granola Girl Outfitters, an outdoors-inspired brand for women who love nature. Over time, that chapter naturally evolved into a nature-inspired art practice with me stepping fully into the role of emerging artist.

Now, in my mid-30s, I’m wholeheartedly chasing this dream. I truly believe it’s never too late to begin, especially when it’s something that’s been quietly calling you for years.

I’m largely self-taught and currently gravitate toward watercolor, though I’m naturally multi-passionate and love exploring new mediums. Before fully stepping into art, I worked in hotel hospitality for over six years! Back in college, I considered pursuing a career in biology or animal science, so it’s no surprise that my favorite subjects are animals, plants, and the wonders of the natural world.

As I continue building a life as a working artist, I’m grateful to share the journey. I offer behind-the-scenes glimpses through my YouTube channel and email newsletter, where I document the creative process and the realities of pursuing art in adulthood.

My current passion project is the Wild Neighbors Print Club — a monthly subscription that delivers nature-inspired happy mail straight to your mailbox. If that sounds like your kind of magic, I’d love for you to join.

Thank you for being here and supporting independent art. It truly means more than you know.
