Hidden Waterfall is a fine art reproduction of my original photograph captured at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon.

This photograph holds a deeply special place in my heart. It was taken during the first trip my husband and I took after the sudden loss of our beloved dog, Oakley. We had always dreamed of hiking the Trail of Ten Falls, and on a whim, we decided to take the trip during a time when our hearts were still carrying so much grief.

As we walked beneath the towering trees and alongside the breathtaking waterfalls, I felt the healing power of nature in a way I never had before. During this hike, I came across this quiet stream where my husband was happily searching for little crawfish in the water. I stepped into the sunlight, closed my eyes, and took a few slow breaths. For a brief moment, the heaviness lifted, and I found a small piece of peace and joy.

The sunlight filtering through the leaves, the gentle movement of the water, and the hidden beauty of this waterfall felt almost magical—like nature was offering a quiet reminder that even in difficult seasons, moments of wonder can still find us.

Prints are typically shipped rolled to best protect them during transit. Occasionally, smaller sizes (8×10 and below) may be shipped flat when possible. Because prints come out of rolls, they may arrive with a gentle curl — this is completely normal and can be easily corrected by carefully rolling the print in the opposite direction (one at a time). Printed on demand as soon as you place your order.
