Orca is an original gouache and Micron pen painting, signed by Caitlin Tobey. This artwork is part of the limited Whales of the Pacific Northwest collection.
The orca has always held a special place in my heart. These incredible animals are one of the most iconic species found along the Pacific Northwest coastline, known for their intelligence, complex family bonds, and unmistakable black-and-white markings.
Orcas are deeply connected to the waters of the PNW, where resident pods have traveled these coastlines for generations. I wanted to capture the beauty and presence of this remarkable animal through a simple, minimalist composition that highlights its powerful silhouette and graceful movement.
More than just a beautiful marine animal, the orca represents connection, family, and the importance of protecting the ecosystems that allow these incredible creatures to thrive.
This original artwork is #2 of 9 in the Whales of the Pacific Northwest series. It measures 9" x 6" and is mounted to a 13" x 10" white mat, ready to be placed into a frame of your choosing.
A meaningful piece for Pacific Northwest lovers, marine life enthusiasts, and anyone who feels a connection to the wild creatures that share our waters.
Each piece is one of a kind, signed by the artist and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
